As part of her legal practice, Keisha offers myriad areas of experience, including business and economics, making her a good fit with the equally diverse law firm. She earned a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree of science in economics. She holds certifications Human Resources, Six Sigma, Workforce Development, and Entrepreneurship.
Keisha received her Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, a private school also located in Fort Lauderdale. While in law school, Keisha worked as a regional program manager, made the Dean’s List, and held memberships in several organizations, including Moot Court Honors Society, NSU Trial Association, and ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. She was also a member of the Caribbean Law Students Association and the Christian Legal Society.
Before joining Hunker Appeals, Keisha served as an attorney with one of Florida’s largest defense firms, where she boosted her areas of experience by practicing in civil rights law, class action, association law, employment law, and legal malpractice, along with other practice areas. Her diverse work experience makes Keisha a well-rounded addition to Hunker Appeals.
Keisha is admitted to all State Courts in Florida, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of Florida and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. She is also a member of the Broward County Caribbean Bar and Palm Beach Bar Associations.
Keisha spends spare time with her family, watching sports, and playing the occasional game of table tennis or dominoes.
